Virtual Worlds
Painting in Virtual Reality taps directly into the subconscious, offering an otherworldly, dreamlike presence. It's one of the most intimate and intuitive ways to create—an embodied experience that feels both deeply connected to the artwork and strangely detached from physical reality. You can dive inside a piece, explore it from within, or float far above it—free from the usual constraints of space and scale.

Virtual Reality Painting & Sculpting
For me, art is a journey of experimentation, exploration, and discovery—an adventure into the unknown. My creative process is shaped by synesthesia, a sensory condition where perceptions blend—colors have taste, time has shape, and abstract ideas take on color and spatial form.
As a kid, I dreamed of recreating the fantastical imagery of my dreams—where I changed form into cake batter, water, or phosphorescent light. I would paint the sky with stories, conducting scenes with my hands. Today, AR and VR let me bring those visions to life. My subject matter often pays tribute to my love of nature and the ocean, as well as the shifting landscapes of dream states.

The VR Party Pad was created for the 2020 VR Art Burn which featured 3D art painted in virtual reality through The Wave. People could interact with the art and also fly around the scenes. The show ended by having a virtual "burn" by lighting all of the scenes on fire. The VR Party Pad was hand painted in virtual reality by Holliday.
The ‘Art In Motion’ collection curated by Mogul and executive produced by Motivate, is a unique showcase of 1 of 1 works minted as NFTs. The exhibition was displayed via over 200 placements throughout the iconic Penn Station in Manhattan, New York.
The SD Farmer's Cup - Virtual Edition was an immersive VR conference featuring Holliday's custom VR art and animation. The event was designed for VR Headsets, desktops, and mobile phones, with 200+ people in attendance.

My process is expressionistic and improvisational in nature, using meditative impulses to gesturally guide compositions. I construct the 3D scenes in a calm linear and symmetrical fashion then wildly deconstruct and reconstruct the compositions to create chaos, excitement, and interest.
